Silver Plate Dishes Including Barker Brothers

A pairing of silver plate dishes. This pairing features a circular dish by Barker Brothers with an engraving to the center and a shell shaped dish with an engraving to the handle. The shell shaped dish is marked to the underside with a variation of the Friedman Silver Co. pictorial maker’s mark, however, no clear attribution could be made. The Barker Brothers dish is marked to the underside with the maker’s mark.

Condition

- minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing to the shell shaped dish; the larger circular dish has heavy wear to the silver plate finish with copper coming through; engravings present.
