A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar rug. The turmeric dyed rug displays a black central medallion and black spandrels with various geometric forms. The field is surrounded by three meandering vine and lobed flower borders. The piece is finished with a cropped cotton warp fringe at either end.
