Pair of Chinese Blue and White Ceramic Plum Vases

Item Details

A pair of Chinese ceramic plum vases. The vases have narrow bases which swell to high shoulders below a small narrow mouth. They have been decorated by hand in blue on a white ground. The designs feature a band of floral motifs above cartouche panels infilled with flowers, foliage, and/or a phoenix. Below, a band of lattice separates the floral designs from vertical panels. These peices are not marked.
