Chinese Cobalt on White Porcelain Vases
Item Details
A pair of Chinese cobalt on white porcelain urns. Each features an open mouth with narrow neck, wide shoulders and tapered shape to the round bottom. The pieces feature amphibian like figures in high relief at the necks and shoulders and include scrollwork handles. The pieces are decorated with a lily pond and lotus blossom theme throughout in cobalt tones against the white ground and both pieces are signed with Chinese lettering to the underside.
Condition
- chips in the rims; residue noted throughout; wear to the underside.
