Southern Federal Style Cherry Drop-Leaf Dining Table

A Southern Federal cherry drop leaf table, circa mid 20th century. This rectangular table features a plank top with two hinged plank leaves over tapered legs joined by a straight apron. The apron is trimmed in checkerboard inlays that continues on the legs. The legs are further embellished with maple string and bellflower inlays. The gate legs push back into the frame for storage. Unmarked.
