Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board by John Marschall. This depicts a figure in the foreground walking along the edge of a narrow steam that passes before a village, as an older man and his dog cross over a shallow bridge in the distance. It is signed in the lower left ‘John Marschall’ and presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame.
Condition
- puncture in canvas board at upper left; surface abrasions and paint missing at upper right; small gap between top of canvas board and frame.
