Item Details

A pair of Japanese gouache paintings on paper mounted to silk scrolls. The two-piece work depicts the long branch of a tree bearing orange fruit and green leaves. Each piece is signed to the lower margin, and stamped with a red artist’s seal below. The paintings are mounted to matching floral-patterned taupe and lavender silk brocade backings stamped ‘Made in Japan’ to the verso.

Condition

- minor surface and edge wear; no dowels, frame or hanging hardware present.
