A Chinese famille jaune ceramic baluster vase. This piece features hand-enameled floral, foliate, and abstract imagery over a mostly yellow background, with a scalloped center panel in white enclosing depictions of butterflies amid flowering and fruiting vines. A pair of figural handles have been gilded. The underside is marked with Chinese characters.
