The drawing, one of artist Betty Widman’s Person-ettes depicts the silhouette of a young woman with a tennis racket, and incorporates the name ‘Janie Ian’ into the rendering of the figure. The drawing is marked ‘Copyright Person-ettes 1979’ and is matted under glass in a black frame with a hanger to its verso.
