A wood engraving on paper of men digging by Fritz Boehle (Germany; 1873-1916), created in 1906. Depicted are two men digging with shovels around the base of a small tree. Artist’s signature in graphite to lower right corner of piece with year of creation. Presented matted under glass in a wooden frame with wire hanger to the verso.
Condition
- toning to paper; slight billow to paper; dust present throughout.
