Gouache Paintings on Papyrus After Ancient Egyptian Art
Item Details
A pair of gouache painting on papyrus after ancient Egyptian art. One painting depicts two women, both wearing elaborate headdresses and garments. It is mounted under glass on a black mat board in a linen liner and carved gilt wood frame. A Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the verso. The other painting depicts a woman giving birth and attended by several women. It is mounted with a cream mat under glass and on a bright blue board in a carved gilt finished frame. Both frames are wired for hanging.

- minor scratches to the frame.
