A pair of hand-colored restrike engravings on paper of Canadian landscapes engraved by W. H. Bartlett after drawings by R. Wallis and J. T. Wilmore. Featured are a pair of prints titled Timber Slide at ‘Les Chats’ and View from the House of R. Sherriff, Esq:, originally published in 1841 by Geo. Virtue in London. Both prints feature idyllic, lush landscapes of upper Canada and the Ottawa River. Both are signed and titled in plate. They are presented matted under an acetate sheath.

Condition

- to fair; prints sit loose under mats; acetate sheaths are crinkled; toning and wear to edges of paper; toning, wear, and tearing to edges of mat; plate marks have either been cut off or are very faint.
