Vintage Chinese Jewelry Box with Lock

Item Details

A vintage Chinese jewelry box with a lock. This piece has a dark finish to the wood with ornate brass corner brackets and door hardware. To the top is a hinged compartment with a brass medallion as well as two drawers lined with golden brocade fabric. The box has a brass handle to each side and stands on bracket feet. An affixed tag to the verso reads ‘George Zee & Co. Z23154 Made in Hong Kong’.
