Towle "Spanish Provincial" Sterling Silver Flatware Set
Item Details
A sterling silver flatware set by Towle Silversmiths. This is in the Spanish Provincial pattern, first introduced in 1967, which features a scroll and rose accented handle. The forty-one piece set including eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, eight teaspoons, two serving spoons, a pierced serving spoon, a ladle, a bon bon spoon, a sugar spoon and a pickle fork, all marked “Towle Sterling 1967” and “Spanish Provincial” to the backs. Also included are eight dinner knives, a pie server, and a master butter knife with sterling handles and stainless blades. The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest with brown felt-like interior lining. The total approximate weight, excluding dinner knives, pie server, and butter knife with stainless blades, is 43.860 ozt.
