A sizable hand-knotted Indo-Persian Audubon room size rug. This rug displays an elaborate central rose and ribbon motif in a pastel color scheme of peach, blue, rose and green over a cream ground. The field features floral bouquet designs along the edges which flow into the floral and rose patterned compound border. The rug is finished with cream hued selvedge and natural warp fringe. There is a faint mark in pigment to the underside which appears to read ‘4904’.
