Two mahogany Rococo Revival side chairs. One English and one American, the English chair upholstered in brown velvet with double welting at the frame has a balloon back with a crest carved with two chrysanthemum flowers and leaves, with a round seat, moulded in the front and on the cabriole legs with the rear legs being curved and square. The American chair, upholstered in yellow fabric with double welting at the frame has a balloon back with a crest carved with fruits and nuts, with a U shaped seat, moulded in the front and on the cabriole legs with the rear legs being curved and square. Unmarked.
