A machine woven Persian style room size rug. This sizable rug displays a central petite floral medallion highlighted by a mirrored palmette and foliate motif. The rug is executed in a palette of burgundy, brown, green, and salmon over a navy blue hued ground. The extensive compound border features alternating palmette and flower head patterns finished with navy selvedge and cotton fringe to each end. Unmarked.
