A pair of American walnut Renaissance Revival side chairs. These high style carved walnut side chairs upholstered in a yellow fabric with welting along the frame have incised carving highlighted with gilt; with the round seat on turned and reeded front legs with ring turned feet on castors and curved moulded rear legs, the two exposed supports of the U shaped chair backs being carved on the sides with a string of bell flowers and surmounted with a bell flower finial. Unmarked.
