A machine woven Persian style area rug. This rug exhibits a central pointed floral medallion and a mirrored palmette and leaf design. The rug is executed in a palette of green, brown and goldenrod over a deep rust hued ground. The compound border features an alternating palmette and leaf motif finished with rust toned selvedge and cotton fringe to each end. Unmarked.
