A machine woven Persian style area rug. This rug exhibits a central pointed medallion and a mirrored palmette and foliate motif. The rug is executed in a palette of green, light salmon, brown and goldenrod over a deep rust hued ground. The compound border features an alternating palmette and leaf pattern finished with rust toned selvedge and cotton fringe to each end. Unmarked.
