A limited edition serigraph on paper titled The Life is a Bowlful of Cherries by Japanese-born artist Ikki Matsumoto (1935-2013). This simplified piece depicts a white bird happily eating a cherry he has pulled from a footed bowl in front of him; his head is slightly raised to enjoy the fruit. This work is numbered 4/200, titled, stamped and signed by hand to its lower margin. The piece is matted under glass in an aluminum frame and includes a wire for hanging to its verso.
