Chinese Ceramic Lidded Urn

A Chinese ceramic lidded urn. This urn features a colorful dragon flying among flowers in a palette of teal, yellow and red on a white ground. A band of curving clouds and another of floral motifs decorate the rim with a crenelated pattern to the narrowing base. It boasts four attached amphibians to the body and domed lid. No discernible maker’s marks present.

- moderate residue and marks; some chipping to the base.
