An early 20th century 14K yellow gold mounted carved helmet shell cameo, en habillé, depicting a young woman in profile with bobbed hair. She is wearing a draped gown with butterfly to the shoulder, corsage and an applied diamond necklace. The brooch is designed with an openwork mount with blue and white enameled accents. It can be worn as a pendant by the hinged loop if desired.
