A vintage 14K yellow gold carved shell cameo converter brooch. This brooch features a carved shell cameo that depicts Jesus and John the Baptist meeting as children. In this depiction, John is carrying a cross in one hand as he approaches the young Christ with his mother standing behind him, and a fourth figure in the distance. This cameo is housed in a yellow gold bezel with a twisted rope trim and hinged bail to the verso.
