1890 Queen Victoria Jubilee Silver Crown

A Queen Victoria jubilee head crown 1890 coin. This coin features Queen Victoria’s Jubilee portrait, more mature, facing left, wearing a small coronet crown. The engraver’s initials J.E.B. appear raised on the truncation of the shoulder. The coin edge is milled, and and is in very good condition. The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci’s design of St. George on horseback slaying the dragon, first used on gold sovereigns of George III in 1817. The initials B.P. appear to the right of the date.Metal Content: 92.5% silver Diameter: 38.61 mm. Weight: approx. 28.27 grams.
