A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Seraband wool carpet runner. The rectangular rug features a cream central background populated with geometric and stylized floral motifs in shades of red, blue, salmon, gold and green, with three large gul medallions to the field, in coral field, with diamond patterned interiors and red serrated borders. The rug has a complex compound border with a deep red major border in a Serabend design and cream guard stripes in stylized floral motifs. The rug has short off white warp fringe to both ends and retains the original tag to the verso.
