Item Details

A traditional Poppo cuckoo clock. The clock is from the Tezuka Clock Co. of Japan and is dated 1953. The clock is wood with a brown stain finish and features a carved bird crest with carved leaves throughout. The clock has a door to the top with a small cuckoo bird that displays on the hour and a brown face with raised white Roman numerals and hands.and the word ‘Poppo’. Other features of the clock include a wood leaf pendulum with pine cone weights on metal chains, brass gears and a hook for hanging.
