Vintage Chinese Bronze Metal Urn with Dragons and Birds of Paradise

A vintage Chinese bronze metal urn. The red tone urn has a tapered form, with pair of darker metal birds of paradise to each side of the shoulder. The body is decorated to one side with an oval, ornately detailed with arabesque motifs and two exotic birds, with the oval surrounded by bas relief dragons. The opposite side also has an oval medallion, with a fabulous phoenix bird soaring over a cloud-filled sky, the oval medallion framed by a pair of bas relief birds of paradise. The urn stands on four dragon legs, which rest on a round tiered base in a lighter metal. The piece is unmarked.
