Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian village carpet runner. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, mauve, green, indigo, and black. It features an overlaid-lattice pattern incorporating concentric diamonds enclosed in ram’s horn brackets; these motifs float over a tile-patterned field. Framing the field are three borders, featuring geometric patterns. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with wool warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
