An antique Ansonia ‘Crystal Regulator’ clock. This impressive mantel clock is designed with a hand painted porcelain top and base in vivid shades of sky blue, marine blue, green, red and gold. It has four sides of beveled glass set in a brass frame, a visible escapement, a 2-jar mercurial pendulum and a brass bezel around an ivory face with roman numerals. It is marked to the base ‘6422/2 7290 273 8.’ Includes a winding key.
