Item Details
A needlepoint wool carpet runner. The rug has been hand-stitched using yarn in shades of green, rose, pink, salmon, pale blue, sand, beige, and white. The emerald green field is infilled with floral wreath motifs alternating with framed flowers. There are narrow camel guard borders flanking a primary border which features a reciprocal triangle design with intertwining floral garlands. The runner has a fabric backing. The loose threads visible at the opened seam are part of the hand-stitched needlepoint process.
