A vintage Jacobean style buffet cabinet by Torres Hermanos of Monterrey, Mexico. This piece has a tri-front cabinet top portion on a two drawer sideboard, all raised on trumpet legs with box stretcher. The cabinet portion has a center door that opens to two shelves that stretch behind the side panels. The three panels have bookmatched veneer fronts with applied carvings in the center, with carved borders, and set under a beveled and veneered cornice with columnar accents. The two drawers have elaborated carved details bordering a center veneered section on each. It has a maker’s mark inside a drawer.
