Limited Edition Offset Lithograph on Paper "Retreat to Higher Ground"
Item Details
A limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled Retreat to Higher Ground by Frank McCarthy (American; 1924 – 2002). The work depicts a cavalry scene with tense action and rich color. To the bottom print margin the work is numbered ‘195/1000,’ and signed in graphite. To the bottom print margin the work is also titled in plate. A gallery label and booklet is included to the verso. The print is presented matted in a decorative mat under glass with a wooden frame.
Condition
- some chips and wear to the frame; frame is splitting to the edges; glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, some scratches and wear to the protective paper.
