A hand-knotted Anatolian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of terracotta, indigo, emerald, sand, and brick. The emerald colored field features a large double hexagonal pendant medallion along with notches and geometric motifs. Framing the field is a main unresolved leaf and calyx border with a pair of X patterned guard borders. Finishing the rug are triple overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the barber pole patterned skirts. Unlabeled.
