A set of Thomas Kinkade’s Simpler Times Bradford Exchange porcelain saucers. This collection of eleven display plates representing a cottage setting for each month of the year is from the Perpetual Calendar series. In this lot, the plate for the month of December is not present. Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Bradford Exchange with the title of the plate’s artwork. The saucers are marked to the base with the plate number and the title of the work, such as ‘February – Sweetheart Cottage II by Thomas Kinkade’, and ‘Third issues in the Thomas Kinkade’s Simpler Times collection which is produced on hard-fire porcelain…limited to a maximum of 95 firing days…1998 – Thomas Kinkade Media Arts Group, Inc. – The Bradford Exchange – 1998’. The plates are also marked ‘Not for food use – Decorative art object’. A legible date on one Certificate of Authenticity is marked ‘2004’. The items come in the original storage box marked ‘Art Editions’; the plates are stored in individual slots which can be removed.
