1930s Planters "Mr. Peanut" Mascot Advertising Doll

A circa 1930s ‘Planters Peanuts’ wood doll or figure. Constructed of wood with stringed body joints, this advertising ‘Mr. Peanut’ mascot doll is presented in the painted colors of blue, gold, and black. The figure’s body is shaped like a peanut and is fully functional with dangling arms and legs. Adorned with a blue top, he has painted eyes, mouth, and monocle.
Condition
The painted colors retain their boldness. The “Mr. Peanut” advertising name is in very good condition. Legs and arms have no missing parts. Little age wear depicted.
