Item Details

An antique Eastlake style china cabinet. This antique china cabinet is of hardwood construction with a dark mahogany finish and features a curvilinear pediment with carved geometric circular medallion in the center. There is a large glass door with decorative appliques at the corners and decorative panels on either side of the door with applied roping and leaves. The interior of the cabinet has three shelves and below is a full length dovetailed drawer with antiqued brass pulls decorated with an acanthus leaf. The cabinet is highlighted by a beaded molding at the base of the case and a pierced curvilinear skirt embellished with a circular medallion and applied reeded ogee curves. This piece sits on turned legs featuring a large fluted turning, bun feet and an H stretcher. This piece also corresponds with items #631-080, #631-081 and #631-082 in this sale.
