An antique French chromotypographic poster titled Exposition universelle de 1900. La Porte Principale. This poster depicts the main entrance to the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris France. The print features in-plate text to the top right corner advertising the newspaper Le Petit Journal, and text to the bottom margin with the title, and information indicating the print was printed on the chromotypographic machine of Marinoni. The bottom right corner also features an illegible in-plate signature. The print is presented under matboard and glass in a considerable gold tone wooden frame with intricate foliate detail throughout.
