A handwoven Kazak style kilim wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a palette of mauve, sepia, slate, ivory, peach, and camel. The mauve to rose colored field features three hooked stepped diamond medallions along with multiple geometric shaped medallions, in a sawtooth and comb patterned border. Framing the field is a running dog border, and a repeated medallion border. Finishing this rug are overcast selevedges and a natural warp knotted fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
