Item Details
A vintage Windsor style braced bow-back side chair by Nichols & Stone. The hardwood frame features a bowed crest above a braced, seven-spindle back joined to a contoured, plank seat. It rises on four splayed, vase- and ring-turned legs joined by a spindled, H-stretcher and the underside retains an incised mark reading ‘N / S’.
Condition
- some minor surface wear; legs with a few minor/small shrinkage cracks; retains remnants of old blue/green paint in joints.
