A vintage Preakness tie by Prince Consort with a clasp. The dark background of the tie is embellished with the repeating design of a yellow horse jumping through an embroidered white and yellow ‘100’. This tie was specially woven for the 100th anniversary of the Pimlico Preakness of May 17, 1975. One label is marked ‘Golden Clasp – 100% Polyester – by Prince Consort – Put Small End Thru Loop Label’. Another tag is marked ‘Woven Especially for 100th Pimlico Preakness – May 17th 1975’.
