A pastel drawing on paper of a surreal roomscape, titled The Door That’s Watched, by artist Margaret Lanterman. This well-blended work depicts a green space with a doorway floating toward its right side, as well as to its upper and lower left edge. The rectangular doorway each have the feeling of a porthole, particularly the uppermost one which seems to open up toward some kind of outside world. This work in signed in pencil toward its lower right and includes a gallery label to the verso noting the title and the artist’s name. It is matted under acrylic glass in a wooden frame with a wire for hanging.

- fair; scuff marks and scratches to acrylic glass; accretion to mat to lower right.
