A cast bronze sculpture titled Conductor by listed American artist Jo Saylors (born 1932). This piece depicts the bust and hands of an older man, an orchestra conductor, in the midst of directing a piece. His eyes are closed as he focuses, and his baton is held delicately in two fingers. The bust is separated from the disembodied forearms and hands, all mounted together on a granite plinth. The bust portion is signed in mold to the back of the shoulders and incised with the edition number 4 in an edition of 12.
