An original 1989 oil painting on canvas of a seated woman by listed Cuban contemporary artist Jose Fors (born 1958). This Surrealist composition depicts a bald female figure with a teacup placed atop her head, gazing at a piece of hanging red fabric. She sits before a backdrop rendered in muted yellow and green hues. The painting is signed and dated ‘89’ by hand to the lower right corner. It is presented unframed with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
