Antique English Regency Mahogany Brandy Board

An antique English Regency mahogany brandy board. This small mahogany brandy board is the perfect size to be carried out onto the lawn by the liveried footmen for that requisite après-fox hunt brandy toast. This circa 1815 brandy board is decorated with holly line inlay on the tapering square legs, with satinwood crossbanding edged with holly and ebony lines on the top, drawers and door, as well as the striking lion face brass ring pulls. The left drawer is fitted for various sizes of spirit bottles and the back displays the signs of hand mortised construction. Original back, locks and drawer bottoms, pulls are old replacements. Condition
- missing satinwood veneer on the top, missing mahogany veneer on the edge of the top, damage to veneer on left corner and on the left corners of the large drawer and door. No key.
