Item Details
A vintage German Blue Max ‘Pour Le Merite’ medal. This medal is mounted to a silver tone metal frame with embossed swags and a red felt backing. The medal hangs from a black and silver ribbon and features a light blue enamel cross on brass. This medal was given to individuals for remarkable military and civilian achievements in the Kingdom of Prussia and, later, Germany.
Condition
- to fair.
- The frame has tarnished areas and the front is coming a part from the back. The back support is also broken.
