A Louis XVI style trompe i’oeil painted chest. The cream painted chest has a faux bois burl wood top over a fluted frieze supported by similarly fluted pilasters that flank double doors with blue and white oval panels decorated with Willow Blue chinoiserie landscape scenes. The side having a trompe i’oeil painted covered blue and white Chinese urn. Both panels are framed by circular rosettes and rests on tapered feet with one leg painted taupe and the other painted grey.
