An Asian style cabinet, featuring a decorative crackle lacquered black top with an incised, double lined border overhanging a lacquered case with two cabinet doors, with brass knobs and incised lines. The doors open to a divided interior with four small drawers fitted with brass knobs. The chest stands on ogee bracket feet. Unmarked.
