Antique Early Victorian Mahogany Armchair

Item Details

An antique early Victorian mahogany armchair. This mahogany frame chair features a curved crest rail and carved cartouche with leaf and floral embellishment. The chair is upholstered to the back and seat in a beige fabric with button tufting to the back and gimp trim throughout. The chair features upholstered, flared armrests rising on acanthus leaf carved supports joining a curved apron with shell embellishment rising on carved legs. There are no visible maker’s marks.
