*A hand-knotted Afagni wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, brick, indigo, sand, sky blue, rust, and taupe. The field features latticed diamond medallions with sawtooth borders and geometric motifs along with boteh and floral motifs. Framing the field is a main cruciform and floral patterned border with two-petal calyx meander guard borders and a running water minor border. Finishing the rug are multiple overcast selvedges and a skirted natural warp fine fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
